DESCRIPTION:The Titusville Historical Society cordially invites its members to a special\, America 250-themed annual summer potluck! This year we will gather at Woodlawn Cemetery to share a meal and hear a presentation from Society Vice President Kelly Anderson Gregg. She will present from her recent article in Western Pennsylvania History magazine\, focusing on Elizabeth Fletcher Hequembourg\, the Daughters of the American Revolution\, and how the Titusville area looked back on the Revolutionary War period at our nation’s centennial. \nDinner will start at 5pm. Please bring a dish to share (note\, there are no outlets available). A tour of the cemetery will be offered if there is interest.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Titusville Historical Society for a special America 250 tour of Woodlawn Cemetery during this year’s Oil Fest extravaganza. \nEstablished nearly 100 years after America’s bid for freedom\, Woodlawn Cemetery holds special stories connected to our nation’s founding. The Society’s volunteers will explore those stories and the beautiful landscape of Titusville’s most famous resting place. \nPlease note\, this is a walking tour on hilly terrain. Dress appropriately for the weather. This program is free and open to the public\, however donations will be taken on behalf of the cemetery.
