What do Spartansburg and auto racing have in common? Why, Ray Harroun of course! This month’s program will investigate the life and legacy of the first Indianapolis 500 winner, Ray Harroun of Crawford County. Historical Society President Kelly Anderson Gregg will present her research into this fascinating topic.
The program will be held at the Society’s Heritage Center, 201 W. Spring St. (use Washington St. entry ramp) on Monday, March 24, at 6:30pm. It is free and open to the public.
